The Cotes du Ventoux is named after the famous Ventoux Mountain pass through which the Tour de France passes every year. The vine from which the Cote du Ventoux wine is made are grown in this region.

Visual:
Dark cherry-red robe, quite steady. Rim gives brick to faintly purple glints.
Nose:
Aromatic first impression. It's fruity, elegant character expresses freshness. The nose opens to a concentration of red currant and raspberry aromas.
Mouth:
Fresh, lively with the fruity character the major expression. A touch of acidity makes this wine deliciously easy to drink. The finish is supple, on light tannins.
The Wine Waiters Advice:
An ideal accompaniment to chicken casseroles, barbecued meat, fried meat, steaks and vegetable pasta. Best served at 13 degrees Celsius.
